The module topics change each semester and are taught by working professionals in the fields of international affairs, conflict resolution and civil society development. Each semester four or more different modules are offered. May be taken twice for credit.

: While the objective of any mediation or negotiation is to bring an end to a situation or move onto another state, ultimately the underlying purpose has to be to transform the
actors themselves. In a binary view of actors in conflicts, the international community has a tendency to categorize them as good or bad. But in many conflicts, a straight line that defines
this dichotomy is too simplistic. In actual fact there are two lines. An upper one of good governance and a lower one of evil.
